We have heart.

47 years ago Jerry Kohl and his then girlfriend, Terri, opened a small shop across the way from their high school. Eventually, Jerry and Terri married. Their love and Jerry's relentless curiosity for all crafts began what we know today as Brighton.

To create and make the pieces our guests love to gift and receive, we simply hire the best.

To provide the best experience for every guest that walks into our stores, we simply hire the best.

We look for leaders who will be teachers, mentors, and coaches for their teams.

#BrightonGivesBack Jerry and Terri have always been and continue to be leaders in their community. To date, Brighton has earned and donated $9.5 million to various philanthropies that serve the communities we are in. We look for leaders who are involved.

We are rooted in giving but we grew out of curiosity.

Going beyond what was imaginable; Jerry’s entrepreneurial spirit drives Brighton forward. We look for leaders who share this curiosity to bring an entrepreneurial spirit to their stores.

We continue to grow because of our roots.

And we are able to do so because of the stability we provide and the home our managing partners create with us.

Our full time key holders are eligible for ongoing contests and incentive programs.

Aside from bonuses and incentives, we provide health benefits (paid sick days and insurance), life insurance, 401k participation, paid vacation and (of course) a generous employee discount.

When it comes to our key holders, we are looking for those who have experience in retail team support, want to be a positive influence in their community, and believe in the power of one.
