Position: Stage Experience Lead (Assistant Manager)

RESPONSIBILITIES 

* Execute cast training for all new hires as well as for existing cast. Facilitate Welcome to Sephora and Sephora 101 training sessions whenever possible. 

* Ensure all on-stage cast understand and properly execute Sephora’s selling model, Celebrate Beauty and its guiding principles of “Get, Give, Teach.” 

* Support the Operations team by ensuring all merchandising concepts and on-stage visuals are within company standard. Keep the on-stage look and feel at the highest levels. Execute all Animations and Color, Skin, and Fragrance updates as needed. 

* Ensure the timely response to all client feedback for the store. Action all clientrelated issues/feedback from Sephora’s client feedback tool (Medallia), the client service hotline or through direct feedback from clients. 

* Ensure all cast are properly engaging with all store brands visiting the store. Ensure all brand representatives effectively train and coach cast on their products. Provide feedback on brand training effectiveness when possible. 

* Ensure the Cashwrap team is effectively engaging with clients and processing transactions as quickly as possible. Ensure that a mobile point-of-sale (MPOS) strategy exists for the store. 

* Support all in-store events ensuring that all events help the store achieve its goals as well as client needs. 

* Ensure all selling cast are properly trained in all Client Service tools and Interactive Technology, including but not limited to IQs, tablets, MPOS, POS, OLR and the Digital Makeover Guide. 

* Ensure proper cast zoning on stage to support client needs. Adjust staffing levels as needed to meet client service expectations. 

* Utilize all available reporting to analyze business trends. Coordinate with SD and appropriate partners, i.e., District Manager (DM), DEM, Regional partners, Field Support Center (FSC) partner, etc., to minimize business risk and maximize business potential. 

* Be seen as the expert by demonstrating a strong understanding of the store’s sales performance and staffing and payroll as well as all other controllable expenses within the store. 

 

REQUIREMENTS 

* Two to four years’ experience in a similar role at a similar volume store or equivalent internal experience. 

* Exceptional leadership and influential skills. 

* Excellent verbal/written communications skills and the ability to influence business partners at all levels in a clear and concise manner. 

* Proven ability to lead and build top performing teams. 

* Proven ability to create teams by attracting and identifying talented store leaders who can train and develop cast to drive sales and deliver outstanding client service. 

* Proficient in basic computer skills including Windows, Word, and Excel. 

* Proven ability to manage time to execute multiple tasks and changing priorities. 

* Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business. 

* Wear costume provided. 

* Follow personal appearance guidelines as stated in the Employee Handbook. 

* Verbally communicate with clients and store employees in a clear manner. 

* Move around “on-stage,” “back stage” and offices. 

* Lift and carry 50 pounds. 

* Work in a fragrance filled environment. 

* Handle and apply cosmetic products to clients. 

* Bend and stretch to stock shelves.
