Sales Associate – Meltease Ice Cream & Desserts
Position Type: Part-Time / Full-Time
Pay: Competitive hourly rate and based on experience + employee discounts
Meltease is a fast-growing specialty dessert and ice cream shop located in Fayette Mall. We are passionate about providing exceptional customer service while serving premium ice cream, shakes, desserts, and specialty treats in a fun and welcoming environment.
We are seeking energetic, friendly, and dependable Sales Associates to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers with a positive and welcoming attitude.
- Assist customers with menu selections and product recommendations.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash/card transactions accurately.
- Prepare and serve ice cream, shakes, desserts, and beverages according to company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, counters, and work areas.
- Restock products, supplies, and toppings as needed.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Previous retail, food service, customer service, or sales experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
